I survived the first day back from my 11.5 day vacation! Here are some highlights of my day:
1. Being called a variety of names, including Ms. maiden name, Mrs. married name and Mom (numerous times).
2. A falling desk and consequently a very bruised shin. Not mine.
3. Vacation head lice stories. You may now begin to scratch your head out of sheer fear of catching lice through the computer.
4. A "real raccoon tail" Daniel Boone style hat. This hat was loved so much, the tail began to fall apart by 10:30, resulting in tears. Not mine.
5. A sincere thank you card form a student for the Christmas gift I gave her. Thank you cards are so important and so often forgotten!
6. And finally, 21 smiling faces! They're a sweet bunch of kiddos.
