Our 72 hour weekend of fun in the sun is over, but we tried to enjoy every moment of it. The beaches of Amelia Island, FL are gorgeous- full of seashells and white sand. Everyday was 85 degrees and sunny, with a lovely ocean breeze. Downtown Amelia, known as the historic district, is quaint and adorable- similar to coastal Maine towns, except lined by palm trees and blanketed with spanish moss. We enjoyed many great meals and I enjoyed a little retail therapy.
Without sharing all of the wedding details, I'll say that the bride and groom were full of wedded bliss and enjoyed their day: 10/10/10. I enjoyed going barefoot to a wedding ceremony and catching the bouquet.
