The main reason K.C. and I visited Boston a couple weeks ago was to see the Ryan Montbleau Band perform. It was a huge bonus that their performance was a "Rock and Blues Harbor Cruise," which meant they played on a boat, rather than in a stuffy theater or performing arts center. The band is originally from the Boston area, so we knew the turn-out would be great. They play rock/blues/folk/country music. It's hard to describe. The weather was humid and hazy for the boat cruise, which didn't make for the best pictures, but I wanted to try out my new camera anyway.
The band played on the second floor, in a covered room. The bar was also located in the covered area, so we spent some time in there. Mostly we stayed on the roof deck and the other open areas on the front and back of the boat. I'm sure there are more specific boat words for "front and back" of a boat. Oh well.

Toward the end of our cruise, as the sun was setting, our Captain stopped the boat in the middle of the harbor for seemingly no apparent reason. Very soon though, as we stood on the roof deck, swaying in the wind, we realized we were directly below the flight path for Logan Airport. Soon, we saw and felt this directly overhead:
It was amazing!!
We had a wonderful time on the boat with our friends Kevin and Abby. They were kind enough to take a picture of us.
